The climate of Indonesia is almost entirely tropical, dominated by the tropical rain forest climate found in every large island in Indonesia. The climate is partly determined by its islands structure and its position astride the Equator, which assure high even temperatures. The archipelago has 2 seasons – a wet and dry season with no extremes of summer or winter.

For most of Indonesia, the dry season falls between May and October
The wet season between November and April.
