Best Time To Visit

Uganda is an all year-round travel destination for tourists, due to its climate and positioning on the equator. The other factor making Uganda a great travel destination throughout the year is Lake Victoria and its unique weather patterns.

  • Uganda mainly has two rainy seasons; The short season from October to November and the long rainy season starts from Mid-March to the end of May.
  • The best months to visit are from June to September and from December to February due to the pleasant sunny weather. December is the busiest month of the year in most national parks with many travelers vacationing during this time, so it is advisable to book accommodation well in advance to avoid disappointments.
