Your safari will begin with an early morning departure from Kampala as you travel west through Uganda's beautiful countryside. Along the way, you will pass vibrant towns, traditional homesteads, lush farmlands, and rolling hills that showcase the country's natural beauty. You will make a stop at the Equator crossing in Kayabwe, where you can take memorable photographs, enjoy refreshments, and witness the famous water experiment. After continuing your journey, you will arrive at Lake Mburo National Park in time for lunch at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, you will set out for a guided walking safari accompanied by an experienced armed ranger. Lake Mburo National Park is one of the few national parks in Uganda where you can safely explore the wilderness on foot. As you walk through the savannah, you will observe wildlife from a unique perspective while learning about animal tracks, indigenous plants, and the park's ecosystem. You may encounter giraffes, zebras, impalas, elands, and a variety of bird species in their natural habitat. After returning to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation, you will enjoy an afternoon boat cruise on Lake Mburo. The calm waters provide excellent opportunities to see hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes gathering along the shoreline, and an impressive diversity of water birds, including African fish eagles, kingfishers, herons, and cormorants. You will return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and relaxati
After breakfast, you will check out of your lodge and embark on a final morning game drive through Lake Mburo National Park. The early morning hours offer excellent wildlife viewing as many animals are active before the day becomes warmer. You will have another chance to spot zebras grazing across the plains, giraffes browsing among the acacia trees, buffaloes, impalas, waterbucks, warthogs, and numerous bird species. After will begin your return journey to Kampala. Along the way, you will stop for lunch and may visit the Equator once more for souvenir shopping or photographs. You will arrive in Kampala in the late afternoon or early evening, bringing your memorable Lake Mburo safari to a rewarding conclusion.
