About Malaysia

Malaysia, a Southeast Asia country, is composed of two regions; Peninsula Malaysia or West Malaysia which is on the Malay Peninsula and East Malaysia which is on the island of Borneo; the third largest island in the world. Malaysia is the 66th largest country in the world and has land borders with Thailand to the North, Indonesia and Brunei to the East and linked to Singapore by a narrow causeway and a bridge to the South. The Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur lies in the Western part of the Peninsula and the administrative center, Putrajaya is located in the South of the capital. Malaysia was once ranked 9th in the world for tourist arrivals as it punches way above its weight in terms of diversity from thriving metropolitan hubs, charming villages, lush forests and breathtaking beaches galore.

The Malaysian population is made up of over 32 million people making it the 46pokFKiNH52ZK1W64wsWVH1Z2t2gueuTcj2xWWp3QCtAWGhC4m6WsQ7Sou6AtzEzrfTkoPy2ibAyA9vWsdsnRscRcX7bVy Malaysia and East Malaysia with the vast majority living in the Peninsula Malaysia. Malaysia is one of the most multicultural countries in Southeast Asia where the indigenous people (Malays) are collectively called The Bumiputra and the immigrant population (Chinese, Indians, South Asians etc.) called The non Bumiputra. Malaysians generally share a common culture but with some regional variation and they speak dialects of a common language- Malay. Malays are officially defined in part by their adherence to Islam as the official religion. Malaysia is termed as “The food capital of the world” as Malaysians take immense pride in the food and you’ll find delicious dishes like the national dish-Nasi lemak. A year round destination, there is no single best time to visit Malaysia. The country has a tropical equatorial climate; it’s humid and warm with the chance of showers throughout the year. Malaysia has two monsoon seasons and therefore its dry seasons are different too. The east coast dry season runs from March until September, and the west coast dry season runs from October to April. This means that there is always good weather on at least one side of the peninsula, so you can plan your luxury Malaysia holiday around reliable sunshine.

Situated in the heart of Southeast Asia, Malaysia is one of the region’s most culturally fascinating destinations. Whether you’re a foodie, a history buff or looking to see some fancy tropical scenery, Malaysia is the right place for you! Visitors can choose from a wide variety of activities from hiking on Mountain Kinabalu, sampling the local food, visiting the famous and iconic Petronas twin towers, Cameroon highlands tour, Kuala Lumpur and other city tours, Borneo wildlife tour, wildlife at Taman Negara National Park, the Batu caves, Snorkeling and Paragliding, Island and beach tours and so much more!
